Deep red in colour with hints of violet in the rim. The combination of grape varieties gives a full nose of ripened fruit aromas. The palate is full with strong plum and cassis flavours gently backed with floral and spiced nuances. This is a delicious wine with hints of vanilla, mocha and chocolate. Superbly structured, the two grape varieties are very different on their own, but when combined they create a wine that is soft, elegant and velvety in the mouth with a long, lingering finish.
