Hermitage 30 Year Old Grande Champagne Cognac
Thirty years of oak ageing ensures this cognac has far more intense flavour and complexity than the big commercial blends.
A highly complex nose reveals aromas of mocha, rich toffee with roasted walnuts. There are some sweet spice aromas and just a hint of pineapple. The palate is rich and nutty, with notes of spice and coffee flavours with mature pineapple background.
Aged in 350 litre casks, initially in new ones (for 6 to 8 months) and then in old Limousin casks. Cellars are medium damp with natural floors.
