Intense garnet-red hue.  Exuberant and complex bouquet of black fruits, such as blackberry and blueberry, harmoniously combined with aromatic hints (menthol and tobacco) as well, with notes of spices.  Well balanced on the palate.  Round and rich with taste of fruits and spices.  Excellent concentration of tannins and an amazingly long finish.

A serious bottle of wine from the Alentejo which can take a good bit of ageing or drink now.
