Having tasted this at the winery (not knowing how much it cost) I could not believe what great value for money this wine offers. Intense garnet red in colour. The nose is fairly complex with cherries, roasted coffee and blackberry aromas evolving towards violet notes and spices.
On the palate it is exceptionally well balanced with smooth tannins, and a full mouthfeel. Strong fruity characters with a long finish evolving towards vanilla and toasted notes. Elegant and refined with long lasting finish.
